Brothertiger has been holding a very prime spot in my secret DJ arsenal over the last few months, and I’m excited for his debut full-length on Mush Records, Golden Years in oh-twelve. Athens, Ohio’s John Jagos tones it back a bit on ‘Lovers‘- the smooth, low-key synth bounce is interrupted by a slightly uneasy if supposedly assuring vocal response – “There’s nothing wrong with me / Can’t you see, it’s gonna be alright.” Vibrant video from Kiki Allgeier.
